If you want to teach children how to cross the road you can use the Green Cross Code but how do you help children stay safe from abuse?

The Talk PANTS campaign, run by the NSPCC, enables parents and carers of 4-11 year olds to begin this conversation.

Many local schools and early years settings will also be teaching the PANTS message with the help of resources based around a friendly dinosaur called Pantosaurus.

The key messages are:

  • Privates are private
  • Always remember your body belongs to you
  • No means no
  • Talk about secrets that upset you
  • Speak up, someone can help

You can also access resources and more information at www.nspcc.org.uk which includes a Pantosaurus singalong video and activity pack.

Broadstone Christian Nursery are committed to safe guarding our children and work closely with parents of our children to offer support and guidance in all aspects of life. If you would like to find out more about our Policies and Procedures, please click here.
